Nivalis is also the city used in ION LANDS’ earlier game Cloudpunk. The FAQ says the two games offer their own experiences of the city and its life. This does not establish identical mechanics, progression or playable areas between the games.
What you can explore
You can explore certain districts freely and take your boat onto the ocean. The FAQ explicitly says the game is not fully open world. Other visible parts of the city function as background environments rather than accessible destinations.
Taxis connect districts, but you cannot directly drive a car. You can steer your boat instead. Exact taxi costs, boat unlocks and a complete district map remain pending confirmation（待确认）.
Business and personal activities
Fishing supports restaurant ingredients and lets you sell fish on the market. Greenhouses provide produce for your own restaurant or market sales, with settings for growing conditions. The source does not provide a tested profit ranking or item price list.
Your choices influence relationships with the people you meet. Apartments can be furnished with lights, paintings and furniture, and photo mode is confirmed. Specific romance candidates, decoration bonuses and a detailed business progression remain pending confirmation（待确认）.
What the perspective means
Nivalis Nights uses first-person play to emphasize the city’s scale. The official FAQ says it does not currently offer character customization, with only the player’s arms and hands visible. Full controller support is confirmed, while exact default button bindings still need confirmation（待确认）.
